NBS presents prize to first Win-a-House Promo winner
NBS Bank on Thursday presented K150 000 prize to Mwatikonda Mbendera , first winner in the on-going Win-a-House Promotion in which the grand prize is a house.
Speaking during the prize presentation, NBS deputy chief executive officer Gilford Kadzakumanja said the promotion’s response has been overwhelming.
“There has been tremendous support from our customers and we would like to thank them through this promotion. We would also like to encourage a saving culture. We believe that owning a house is one of everyone’s aspirations. We are currently leaders in mortgages because before we became a fully fledged house we were a building society,” said Kadzakumanja.
Receiving the prize Mbendera said he was happy to win the prize and encouraged other customers to deposit with NBS to stand a chance of winning one of the prizes.
Apart from the grand prize, every month winners will walk away with K150 000, a set of 20, IBR 12 feet iron sheets and K50 000.
To qualify for the draws, a savings or current account customer must maintain a minimum balance of K20 000 for a month while a fixed deposit account customer should maintain at least K50 000 for one month.
